Well, Liz is officially done with school, thanks to the help of her wonderful sisters and niece. She also finished second place in a state skills competition! Good job, Liz! Now she just needs to go pass the state boards and she will be officially licensed and ready for business.
I got a job at Allstate and am studying to pass the Property and Casualty test, it will be a good second job so that we can have Liz stay home as much as possible. I am also considering taking the Phlebotomist course at the DATC as another stepping stone. Anyone want their blood drawn? :)
I hope that everyone has a happy Easter and remembers the humble birth, great and selfless sacrifice and glorious resurrection of The Savior. What a great privilege and gift, to have such a wonderful tool for happiness at our fingertips. It has always been there and always will be there if we will be humble enough to use it and take part in the great atonement of Jesus Christ. Heaven knows I need it, so does hell. Any and every tactic will be usurped by the adversary to get us as far from God as he can get us, but there is no happiness or joy in that path.
Thank you all for everything you do and have done for my family and I, we are extremely grateful. Talk to you later.

I love finding out when you have new postings. Mostly because I always thought you were a very cute cousin growing up and didn't know you too well--so now that we're all grown up I am learning so much about you and your sweet family. I'm so glad you like to write, you probably keep a journal, too. You'll make a great teacher (in and out of church and work)!!
Congrats to Liz, she IS talented and special. Brinley is a doll and Wyatt will be very lucky to have you guys as family. Good luck on tests and school, and if you want to take my blood, test on an orange for a long time first ;0). I enjoy your testimony each time the most. It's sweet and pure. Lots of Love, The Callahan's

A Question of Balance

Well, there are a lot of questions and situations in life that require a lot of prayer and thought. What job to take, is that the right place to live, whom should I ask to do this or that and other various and sundry choices and decisions to make. I am just glad that there are people here on this Earth and not on this Earth that know more than me and are far wiser. Parents, older friends and siblings, church and civic leaders and many more. But the most important one that I know now more than ever that is the most understanding and the most reliable is our Father in Heaven. It's extremely comforting to know that He is there and that I have the Gift of the Holy Ghost so that I can hear and feel him. And there is no greater comfort for mental, physical, emotional and spirtiual pain than relying on the blessing of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. By him and through him and of him we can all find the peace and comfort we all crave as imperfect human beings. To know that the mista...
